Putting a face on giving Tuesday

The Challenge

Just as we were getting ready to produce a series of Giving Day videos featuring scholarship students, Chicago experienced a surge in COVID-19 cases and Loyola’s campus was closed to outside visitors. But the show went on, thanks to careful planning and seamless collaboration with our Loyola partners. A historic lakefront mansion made for both a dramatic and controlled setting, so we could ensure everyone’s health and safety. All campus B-roll was shot by the Loyola team.

The Impact

The videos showcased the students’ stories in their own words. Their authenticity, gratitude, and genuineness deeply resonated with Loyola’s alumni and made a compelling case for supporting the university’s unwavering commitment to cura personalis—care of the entire person.
