Chris Iannuccilli
Senior Director of Marketing, Maps, Photos, and Lens at Google
With years of experience in agency, higher education, and technology marketing, Chris Iannuccilli has a unique view of the marketing industry. He currently leads marketing for Google Maps, Photos, and Lens, a collection of applications used by billions of users around the world. Chris joined Google in 2011 as the director of marketing for employment branding, launching Google’s “do cool things that matter” message on campus and its Careers site; he retains a deep insight into the value of fostering and communicating strong company values and culture.
Prior to his time at Google, Chris was the executive director of marketing at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he led the rebranding of the top-ranked, 100-year-old school to “Chicago Booth” following alum David Booth’s transformative gift, in partnership with Lipman Hearne. Before that, Chris managed strategic shopping partnerships for AOL. His insider understanding of the higher education marketplace is augmented by his years of agency experience at DDB, where he worked on great brands like McDonald’s and Budweiser.
Chris also holds a seat on the advisory board of Clear Admit, an online community that provides resources for top M.B.A. prospects and applicants.
He received a B.A. in economics from Penn, and an M.B.A. in marketing from Michigan. He lives in Stanford with his wife, Michele, a leader on the development team at Stanford, and fellow Patriots fans Alec (17) and Luke (14).
